Robot collection by Andy Shaw at Shawcraft Replica’s , Facebook- Shawcraft Life size robots The Planet Robots are stunning, standing five foot eight inches tall. Colour options include black and red just like the original Japanese tin toys.
The original toys were made by Yoshia KO of Japan in the late 1950′s. These were unlicensed copies of Robby the Robot, star of the 1956 MGM masterpiece ‘Forbidden Planet’.
The toys were made in several colours and versions. The most popular colour was black and red, with clockwork walking action and sparks shooting around the interior visible through acetate ‘windows’. Also making his debut is Zintar the giant size robot replica’s

While browsing today I came across this site. Looking forward to seeing more production possibilities after the Zintar startup in production is completed.
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment, yes the Zintar robot will be a valuable addition to the exhibition. We will get more photo’s up when it is completed.
It’s been about two years, and now I’ve got Zintar on my operating table. It’s going to be great looking forward to the release of the Zobor and Zerak models.
