X-10 robot visits Makerfaire UK with Cyberigs Robots.

The X-10 now sporting radio control and remote robot voice PA system, ventured further than ever before. Newcastle upon Tyne was the destination, where they hosted the UK Maker Faire 2017 on the 1st and 2nd April at the Life Science Centre. A packed event spread over several halls, filled with all manner of creations.

young children displayed their imagination with the fuzzy felt robot boards, and many people quizzed their brains over the X-10 puzzle, which although only 10 pieces, turned out more tricky than we first thought. But determination shone through and most people completed it!   The robot dancing went down a storm during the busy period, with many people joining in to “Robot Dance” – Flashmaster Ray and the “Robots” – Kraftwerk all played through the built-in speakers.     A common question among the young inquisitive minds was… “does the X-10 fire anything”!, so the X-10 will be receiving a few more accessories over the coming months. These are TOP SECRET and cannot be revealed at this stage! You can now follow the X-10 and his shenanigans on his own twitter page

Yslabelle was there too, and many people entered the contest to guess how many boxes were used in her construction. The answer to this will be revealed in a later blog.

See what the X-10 and crew get up to below!
